General Gynecology

General Gynecology

We at Krishna Speciality Hospital provides a full range of services in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of routine and complex gynecology conditions. Our practitioners provide a full range of general gynecologic services for women, from yearly routine examinations and screenings to highly specialized procedures. General gynecologic conditions include abnormal bleeding, chronic pelvic pain, uterine fibroids, endometriosis, loss of bladder control (urinary incontinence), pelvic floor disorders, problems with pelvic support and adolescent gynecology conditions.

Minimally Invasive Gynecology Surgery

Minimally invasive surgery includes hysteroscopic, laparoscopic, vaginal and single site surgical approaches, which are associated with quicker recovery, shorter hospital stays, less blood loss and scarring, as well as fewer infections.

Our team is highly trained to offer both medical and surgical options for a variety of benign gynecologic conditions including fibroids, endometriosis, abnormal uterine bleeding, chronic pelvic pain and ovarian masses.

We value a conservative approach and offer surgical interventions
only when indicated and appropriate for

  • Laparoscopic hysterectomy
  • Laparoscopic removal of benign and malignant tumors
  • Laparoscopic ovarian cystectomy
  • Laparoscopic oophorectomy
  • Laparoscopic myomectomy (removal of uterine fibroids)
  • Laparoscopic repair of pelvic organ prolapses (Laparoscopic sacrocolpexy)
  • Laparoscopic Burch colposuspension for urinary incontinence
  • Laparoscopic excision of endometriosis
  • Hysteroscopic surgery including resection of the fibroid, septum and polyps
